1
Addressable Systems
Addressable fire alarm panels offer faster identification and response to fire emergencies, as well as easier troubleshooting and maintenance of the system. They are more suited to larger installations and networked fire alarm systems due to their larger capacity for connected devices and advanced features compared to conventional fire alarm systems.
Addressable systems have a greater variety of equipment available to the system.
In some circumstances addressable systems would have to be used to meet the recommendations in BS5839 pt 1

2
Conventional
Conventional fire alarm systems offer easy of installation.
Conventional panels are more of a entry level fire panels, both in terms of installation and function. They also offer the most economical prices when compared with 2 wire or addressable panels however installation costs will differ.
There is no issue in using a conventional fire alarm system, although it is not suitable for large systems and systems that require a high degree of programming / commissioning

3
Wireless
Wireless fire alarm systems are great when it is difficult to install cabling or it is not allowed, for instance a listed buildings
.
These systems allow for more flexibility in installation and can be basic or more complex depending on the site requirements and equipment needed. Addressable wireless and conventional systems are both available options. A site radio survey may be necessary to ensure proper signal strength and coverage throughout the building.
4
Temporary
Temporary fire alarm systems are a great solution for building sites and temporary structures where a permanent fire alarm system is not feasible. These standalone systems are easy to use, battery-powered, and quick to install and commission. They provide peace of mind and ensure the safety of people and property in case of a fire emergency.
